PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains how Cluck Norris (“we,” the School of Crypto Hard Knocks website at clucknorris.app and the Cluck Norris mobile app) handles information. The mobile app loads the same live site, so the practices below apply to both.

Information we collect

• Your Solana wallet address — only when you choose to provide it. When you claim a transcript/diploma or opt into the token airdrop, you submit a Solana address. We store it to issue your credential and to maintain the airdrop list. Nothing about the school requires this — it’s entirely optional.
• Addresses you enter into research tools. When you use free tools like Wallet X‑Ray, Token Autopsy, Transaction Trace, or Wallet Safety Checkup, the token mint or wallet address you paste is used to query public on-chain data and generate the report. These are public blockchain identifiers, not private information.
• Questions you ask “Ask Cluck.” Text you send to the in-app AI tutor is transmitted to our AI provider to generate an educational answer.
• Aggregate usage analytics. We count page visits in a privacy-respecting way to understand traffic. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other sites.
• Local storage on your device. Your lesson progress, interface preferences, and a record of any premium tools you’ve unlocked are kept locally on your device.

What we never collect or do

• We never ask for or store your seed phrase or private keys.
• We never take custody of your funds, and there is no wallet-connect required — not to learn, and not to pay.
• We don’t require a name, email, or password to use the school.
• We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone.

Premium tools & payments

Premium operator tools are unlocked by sending a small on-chain transfer of the CLKN token. We verify that transaction on the public Solana blockchain to confirm payment. We never handle card or bank details. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by nature — that is a property of Solana, not something we control.

Public transcripts

If you earn a transcript, a shareable public page is created to display your achievement. It shows your completion/verification status and, if applicable, whether the associated wallet currently holds CLKN — it never displays your token balance. If you’d like your transcript or wallet address removed, contact us at the address below.

Third-party services

To deliver features, limited data (typically a public wallet or token address) is shared with service providers, including:

• Solana RPC and on-chain data providers (e.g. Helius, Solana Tracker, Solscan, Bags.fm) — to fetch blockchain data for the research tools.
• An AI provider (Anthropic) — to power the “Ask Cluck” tutor.
• Google Sheets — to maintain the airdrop list of addresses you voluntarily submit.
• Embedded tools such as a swap aggregator (Jupiter) and chart widgets (e.g. DexScreener), which operate under their own privacy policies.

Each receives only the minimum needed to perform its function.

Data retention & your choices

Wallet addresses on the airdrop and credential lists are retained so we can deliver the airdrop and keep your transcript live. You can request removal of your address and/or transcript at any time by emailing us.

Children

Cluck Norris involves cryptocurrency and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and crypto-related features are intended for users who are of legal age in their jurisdiction.

Security

Because we don’t custody funds or store sensitive credentials, the data we hold is limited by design. We apply reasonable measures to protect the information we do keep, but no system is perfectly secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
